Courtyard Clinic have been providing physiotherapy, chiropractic, pilates and other healthcare and well-being services for over 20 years. Like all businesses, as further guidance issued regarding COVID-19 they had to quickly adjust the way they worked in line with government recommendations.
To adhere to social distancing guidelines one of the first steps they took was to cease class-based tuition for pilates. However the business was keen to support their clients and looked at alternative options to do so. They approached All Things Web® for support and guidance on an efficient and timely way the classes could be moved online. We reacted quickly to set up a dedicated web page that only their clients could access, so they could watch and participated in a new recorded pilates class on a weekly basis – all from the comfort and safety of their home.
With further restrictions on self-isolation, social distancing and “stay at home” Courtyard Clinic took the decision to close their clinics. As already demonstrated through the success of their online pilates classes, they contacted us to work on a solution to move their other services online.
Working closely with Jo, one of the Clinic Directors, we were able to discuss and advise on the best process to deliver online physiotherapy and chiropractic consultancy services as well as continue with recorded pilates and new online 1-2-1 pilates classes.
This was a very time sensitive project which included enabling their two websites to work seamlessly as an ecommerce platform. The project covered updating content, setting up WooCommerce, creating new product pages, auditing and checking the entire payment process to ensure it worked smoothly from a customer experience perspective and ultimately that the post-purchase emails were transmitted to customers adhering to all GDPR regulations.
Being able to promote new online services and take payments online has allowed Courtyard Clinic to virtually keep their doors open and continue to support their clients both existing and new.
